Chamonix in the summer: the weather is generally glorious and fresh and there is no shortage of things to do (or not do). Whether, a short summer break or a week away, The Clubhouse promises the relaxed atmosphere of an English country house (newspapers, lie-ins, long lunches, sofas you sink into, dessert every day, a massage maybe, DVDs in the evening...) but with much better weather, delicious food, mountain air, and a view of Mont-Blanc towering over the terrace. Plus there's the option to do something more challenging with your day than deciding whether to have the lamb or the salmon for dinner. If you're not quite up to climbing Mont-Blanc, there's everything from rock climbing and paragliding to mountain biking, golf, white water rafting, forest walks, swimming and tennis.
