At The Clubhouse

Breakfast
A help-yourself, continental breakfast is laid out from 8am-10am (€8) Thu-Sun. Breakfast includes croissants, pain au chocolat, toast, yoghurt, fruit, boiled eggs, tea, coffee and juices.

Tea & coffee*
Free help-yourself tea and coffee are available to members all day at The Clubhouse from 8am-6pm.

Lunch
If you are around The Clubhouse for lunch, we've got a daily changing menu of light salads, sandwiches and specials.

Dinner
Dinner is usually around €18-35 pp and we recommend that you book (04 50 90 96 56) if you plan to eat with us as space is limited.

The bar & lounge
The lounge is open from 8am to 1am with a bartender on duty from noon. The Clubhouse Bar is restricted to residents, members and your guests only please. Residents share the bar with over 3,500 non-resident local and international members.

Wi-fi*
The Clubhouse is set up for wi-fi and is free to residents and members.

Library
We've recently started building this and have an odd selection of books and magazines lying around the place as well as a small library of erotic books (curated for us by Sam Roddick owner of Coco de Mer in Covent Garden) on the top shelf in the library/gallery area.

The Treatment Room
We have a treatment room on the lower ground floor for a variety of face, body and mind treatments. The Treatment Room is generally open everyday, but you are advised to book treatments on 04 50 90 96 56 to ensure a space. Please contact Sandie for more information.

Parking
Parking isn't easy this close to the centre of town but we do have several spaces alongside The Clubhouse for guests, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please do not park anywhere that you're not supposed to. Drop offs are easy and someone will usually buzz you in if you beep. If you plan to be in and out a lot, buzzers can be borrowed from reception provided you leave a €100 deposit. For more permanent (and free) parking go out of the gate, turn right on to Rue Vallot and you can find free parking at The Tennis Club parking 400m up the road on the right. Follow the river side track to come back to The Clubhouse.

Equipment hire

Zero G Chamonix - mountain bike specialists Zero G Chamonix is a bike and snowboard shop located high in the French Alps, in the resort of Chamonix. They're service-orientated, unlike a bunch of other shops, and strive to make you happy. They speak English, Swedish, Italian and French; any questions, please give them a shout. Their priority is to get you out on the trails with the best possible kit for you & your wallet, as fast as they can. Members get 10% of summer mountain bike hire at www.zerogchx.com.

Sanglard Sports deliver equipment straight to The Clubhouse for members and their guest. Members get a 15% discount on all hire and you also have the added bonus of pre-ordering your gear online prior to arriving in Chamonix.

Members' and residents receive a 15% discount on ski, boot & board hire from Cham Sports (out of the gate, right on the Rue Vallot and you'll find Bertrand & Fred 100m up the road on the right hand side).

Lessons, guides, etc.

Our main mountain partner for lessons, guiding, Vallee Blanche tours, etc is Evolution 2. If you wish to book any lessons or guiding, please do so yourself direct by calling 0033 (0)450 55 53 57, or one or their representatives is usually on hand to pop by and talk you through what availability they have during your stay.

Mountain partner activities

Paragliding/parapente
If you fancy soaring above Chamonix for a 20 minute, 1,000 m drop, tandem flight, we recommend Summits (through the gate, left on to the Rue Vallot, right at the crossroads and they are 50m on your right in the arcade which is below street level) or call - 04 50 53 50 14. Regular flights cost 90€ pp (plus your Brevent lift ticket up to Plan Praz - one way only) and you will need about an hour to get out, up, off, down and back. You can also fly from higher (including l'Aiguille du Midi and Les Grand Montets) or book courses. Members' of The Clubhouse get 10% off the quoted price.

Prestige Outdoor Specialists
Oli organises all kinds of day and night time activities in Chamonix, Courmayer and beyond for the adventurous, romantic or gourmands amongst you - from snowmobile treks to farmhouse restaurants with torch-lit descents to helicopter drops at the Cremerie du Glacier. In the summer you can try pendulum jumping, white-water rafting, mountain biking, ice-climbing and golf...but not all at the same time. If you are in Chamonix for a week, you should do at least one of Oli's trips. Helicopter stuff
Heli-skiing is illegal in France but the heli-ski season starts (in Italy) in January. Until then, we can arrange helicopter transfers for you, fantastic leisure flights over the Mont Blanc Massif or flights to mid-station drops in Mégève and Les Contamines with CMBH. The Clubhouse has leased 100 hours of flight time at a discounted rate solely for the benefit of residents and members.

Discounts off-piste

Le Salon
If you need a haircut, we recommend Le Salon which is down by the casino. Always best to book ahead with Eva or Seb - 04 50 53 17 75. Remember to take your membership card to get a 10% discount.

Fuji Film Image Services
If you want to get your snaps developed before heading home, we recommend Fuji Film Image Services - down the end of the Rue du Dr Paccard just along from Chanel on the right hand side. The Clubhouse members receive 10% off processing.

The Clubhouse members' receive a 20% discount on all REN Skincare products purchased online - just enter CHAMONIX as the discount code.

This is the place to buy your sunglasses and it's right by The Clubhouse just left out of the gate on to Rue Vallot. They have an excellent selection including Vuarnet, Ray Ban and Prada. You get a 10% discount with your membership card.

A new parfu(u)merie on Rue de Moulin just round the corner from The Clubhouse. Stocking as great selection of body products including Acqua di Palma and Dr Hauschka and more. 10% discount for members.
